Coming on the heels of the allegation that ex-Kogi State lawmaker, Dino Melaye reportedly beat his new wife, Alero, he has refuted this claim. In a series of tweets today, Melaye said, “Just to clear the air, I usually will not join issues with liars & deliberate frustration. I have never and will never hit Alero or any woman. Why is it that Moses Fabiyi, cousin to my ex-wife and my ex-wife are the only ones in Nigeria to break the lies. Why is it difficult for Tokunbo to move on?
“I don’t care what she does or what she doesn’t. She should try and forget me and move on. Who God has blessed no man can curse. God will do that which He said He will do, no matter what. Dino is not the last man in Nigeria. Move on. Those who just read anything on the internet that is garbage in, garbage out and start judging. Be sure of your facts before you descend on people. Lies no matter how decorated, it will remain a lie. Am too busy with serious National calamities that we all have to fight with prayers & actions.”
Dino Melaye didn’t however disclose if his new wife has moved out of their matrimonial home. His ex-wife Tokunbo Fabiyi’s reply to Melaye tweets was simply ‘REALLLYYY?!……LOL. smh…’.
