The candidate of the African Democratic Party (ADC) for Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election, Architect Salman Idris has expressed his heartfelt condolence to the people of Kiri kingdom over the demise the Olukiri of Kiri Kingdom, His Royal Highness Oba Jerome Mosiko.
In a condolence message made available to press men, Arc Salman described the late Olukiri as father to all and lover of peace whose life was dedicated to the service of his people.
“It is painful that we lost His Royal Highness, the Olukiri at this difficult time when his fatherly counsel will be greatly needed. He has left a very huge vacuum that will take a lot of time and effort to fill.
“Our consolation is in the fact that the late Olukiri lived an exemplary life that is worthy of emulation and his good legacies lives on,” the message read.
Arc Salman also expressed his condolence to the Olori, the children of the late Kabiyesi and indeed the entire Bunu kingdom over this great loss.
He prayed to God to grant the soul of Oba Jerome Mosiko eternal repose and grant the entire Kiri kingdom the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
