Member, House of Representatives (APC-Dekina/Bassa), Hon. Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa has urged his supporters to remain calm and hopeful.
Reacting to the judgement of Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal that nullified his election into the green chambers, Baiwa assured his supporters of victory.
In a statement issued on Monday, the lawmaker stated that the tribunal judgement was the opinion of the body, as their is still the window of appeal at the higher court.
He urged his teeming supporters from Dekina-Bassa federal constituency not to shiver over the current development, saying the dynamism of the legal process will come to play at the higher court.
He said his is confident that the judicial process will reverse itself to ensure the initial victory the people bestowed on him in the last February election is secured.
The federal lawmaker assured the electorates of more dividends of democracy.
