A fromer Commissioner for Agriculture in Kogi State, Dr. Tim Nda Diche has declared his intention to vie for the Dekina-Bassa House of Representatives seat in 2019.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Comrade Abubakar Lawal, Diche said it is time to rise to the challenge and rescue the Federal constituency.
He said his aspiration is in the interest of the the good people of the constituency.
“After wide consultations, cutting across friends, political associates and supporters, we have come to the conclusion that we need to rise to the challenge in the rescue of Dekina-Bassa Federal constituency.
“As we all know this struggle is not for personal reasons or interest but for the interest of our people, humanity and our constituency.
“As for the party, we are still on consultation. Since it is the people we are going to serve, we will leave the decision of party platform to the choice of our people.
“With God Almighty, the support and determination of our people, we shall get there for the development we all dream of,” he said.
