Crisis of confidence is brewing between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders in Igalamela-Odolu Council area of Kogi State over endorsement, zoning and second term arrangement of some elected party men.

Political observers in the area are of the opinion that if the governor, Idris Wada, does not act fast and call the participants at the centre of the crisis to order, PDP might lose out in the forthcoming election.

However, Honourable Friday Sani who is representing the area at the state House of Assembly told newsmen that he is the target of the opposition.

Sani, who alleged a threat to his life, explained that “endorsement and zoning have always been part of the politics of the area,” insisting that it would be “dangerous for anybody to stop it now for any selfish reason.”

He informed that “arrangement on ground does not affect second term ambition,” believing that power rotation would give each district that made up the area the sense of belonging.
