The 2007 set of Mass Communication Department of Kogi State University Anyigba, now Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) has condoled with Dr Mrs Olubunmi Agbana over the death of her loving husband.
Her former undergraduate course mates urged her to remain strong with unwavering confidence in God.
Her former course mates made this known when they paid her a condolence visit over the death of Dr Agbana Busayo Emmanuel in Lokoja on Thursday.
Mr Atabo Sylvester, the leader of the group, charged the widow to live her life, adding that the group was “not here to cry with her but to tell her to take heart.”
“We are here on behalf of the 2007 set of Mass Communication students of Kogi State University Anyigba (KSU), now Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba (PAAU), to pay you a condolence visit before the burial process.
“What happened has already happened and there is no need to tell you sorry but cheer-up in order to justify the strong woman you have been from the beginning,” he said.
Dr Mrs Olubunmi Agbana, while responding, appreciated her undergraduate course mates for the show of love in a hard time like this.
She further promised to cheer-up in order to withstand the enormous task ahead, stressing that, it is only God that could fill the vacuum left.
In a closing prayer, Mrs Racheal Ojochenemi Ocheni prayed that such a painful experience will not reoccur in the family and asked God to grant the departed soul eternal rest.
