The member representing Igalamela-Odolu Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Atabor has congratulated the newly appointed Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Pharmacist, Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku and the new Director General (Protocol), Dr. Gabriel Alhassan Ottah.
Hon. Atabor described their appointments as “a visionary step in the right direction and a product of well-earned rewards for hard work, consistency, loyalty, dedication to duty and track record of outstanding performances in their previous respective endeavours.
“On behalf of the people of Igalamela-Odolu Constituency, I heartily congratulate them and express absolute confidence in the ability of Pharmacist Asuku and Dr. Ottah to consolidate on the incredible achievements of their respective predecessors”.
Hon. (Barr.) Atabor hailed Chief Edward Onoja for “putting up an outstanding performance as Chief of Staff to the governor.
“The productivity of Chief Edward Onoja’s era as Chief of Staff is second to none in the history of Kogi State.
“He was totally committed, innovative, energetic, dedicated, efficient and loyal to not just His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello but to Kogi State and the All Progressives Congress”, adding that “I am absolutely confident that when elected, his partnership with Alhaji Yahaya Bello as his Deputy will usher in more prosperity for Kogi state and its citizens”.
Until their appointments, Pharmacist Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku was the Director General, (Protocol) to the governor while Dr. Gabriel Ottah was the Head of Department, Mass Communication, Kogi State University, Anyigba.
