Member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims and his Kogi State counterparts at the Federal House of Representatives, on Monday, visited Governor Yahaya Bello over the death of his mother.
Halims prayed almighty Allah to grant the repose of late Hajiya Hauwau Bello eternal peace and thereafter, appealed to the Governor, the bereaved family and friends to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a fulfilled life.
On his path, the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, thanked the National Assembly members for their show of love and solidarity, appealing for a sustained synergy for the greater good of their constituencies and the state in general.
Among National Assembly members present were, Hon David Zachariah, Rt. Hon Abdullahi Hassan Baiwa and Hon Tijani Damisa of Idah, Dekina-Bassa and Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituencies respectively.
Also present was Hon Joseph Asuku of Okehi/Adavi federal Constituency.
The deceased, late Hajiya Hawau Bello, passed on to eternal glory at the age of 101, penultimate Saturday, 14th March, 2020 and was buried in her home town at Adavi LGA, according to Islamic rites.
