You may have wandered far, but you are not beyond mercy. Christ is still calling. The Father is still waiting. Your past may explain your distance, but it does not have authority over your return.
«“Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD.” — Malachi 3:7»
Perhaps church hurt you. Perhaps disappointment made you abandon fellowship. Perhaps unanswered prayers hardened your heart. But do not confuse the failures of people with the character of Christ. Men can disappoint; Jesus remains faithful.

The prodigal son discovered that leaving home could satisfy appetite without satisfying the soul. Eventually, he remembered his father. That remembrance became repentance. Your return can begin with one honest prayer: “Lord Jesus, I am coming home.”
«“I will arise and go to my father.” — Luke 15:18»
Do not wait until you feel worthy. Nobody returns to Christ because of personal perfection. We return because grace is greater than our failure. The cross does not ask you to repair yourself before coming; it invites you to come and be restored.
Find a living, Christ-centred church where Scripture is honoured, prayer is practised, holiness is taught, love is demonstrated, and Christ: not personality, politics, money, or celebrity—is the centre. You need fellowship, accountability, discipleship, worship, correction, encouragement, and spiritual family.
«“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.” — Hebrews 10:25»
If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, today can become your turning point. If you once walked with Him and wandered away, today can become your return. Heaven is not mocking your past; heaven rejoices over repentance.
Do not let shame keep you outside the house where grace is calling. Do not let yesterday become an excuse for wasting tomorrow. The door of mercy is open. Return to Christ. Return to fellowship. Return home.
«“There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” — Luke 15:10»
Your story does not have to end with distance. The God who received the prodigal can receive you. The Christ who forgave Peter can restore you. The Shepherd who searches for one lost sheep is still searching today.
Come home. Come back to Christ. Find a faithful, living church. Begin again.
