Over thirty five houses has been blown off by the terrible windstorm at Omi in Yagba West local government area of Kogi state.
The victims of the affected houses has been displaced, properties destroyed and her seeking refuge with their neighborhood.
As at the time of filing this report, large number of the residents terribly affected by the windstorm are still homeless and houses yet to be renovated.
On behalf of Omi community, we are making a clarion call and passionately seeking/appealing for financial, materials and logistics support for the victims of the windstorm in the community.
We are appealing to Kogi State Government, Yagba West Local Government, Corporate Organizations , Private Individuals and other philanthropist to please come to the aid of the victims and provided a succor for them.
