Chieftaincy Title: Sports Commissioner, Youth Group Felicitates With Fanwo

Kogi state commissioner for youth and sports development, Hon. Idris Musa has congratulated his information and communication counterpart, Hon. Kinsley Fanwo who conferred with the chieftaincy title, Obatunluse of Otafun-Amuro land in Mopamuro local government area of the state.

Idris, who graced the chieftaincy coronation of on Friday, expressed gratitude to the traditional institution of Otafun-Amuro for finding Fanwo worthy of the prestigious title, describing it a well deserved recognition in appreciation for hard work, diligence and commitment to grassroot development.

The sports commissioner, popularly known as Danjuma Oando, prayed that God will grant Fanwo the needed wisdom for the discharge of the responsibility that comes with this new height of service to humanity.

Also, the Coalition of North Central Youth Vanguard (CNCYV) has joined other well wishers to felicitates with the Commissioner for Information and Communication and his wife, Mrs. Ruth Roseline Fanwo who was conferred with the title Yéyé Àtúlúsé of Otàfúñ kingdom.

In a statement issued by the group’s general secretary, Omosona Olakunle, CNCYV said; “no doubt, your conferments is worthy of celebration and highly deserved due to your strength, courage and contributions to the growth of Amuro Community and Kogi State at large.

“As one of the most ebullient personalities who has done well to elevate the face of Amuro land, you deserve the title in view of your sterling leadership and active role in the development of Okun land and Kogi State as a whole.”

Also present at the event were the Commissioner for Budget, Economy and Finance, Mukadam Asiru Asiwaju Idris; Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Abdulrahman Danga; Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Wemi Jones; Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Hon. Bashir Gegu; Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Baron Okwoli, amongst other notable government functionaries, political and traditional leaders.
