To the people of Kogi East: 2027 places before us a duty we owe only to ourselves, the duty of self-liberation.
Our determination to reclaim what belongs to us must outweigh the determination of those who seek to impose upon us a candidate who kneels for personal enrichment while surrendering Kogi East’s resources, opportunities, and appointments to interests outside our zone. We cannot afford another cycle of representation that answers to a godfather in Kogi Central rather than to the people of Kogi East.
Words and sentiment alone will not secure this liberation. It demands that our conviction be matched with groundwork: door to door mobilisation, ward by ward organising, and a turnout on election day large enough to leave no room for manipulation.

Born on 4 May 1974 in Idah, QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman is a highly accomplished Nigerian professional with expertise in quantity surveying, project management, and procurement. His academic foundation includes a Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Kaduna Polytechnic, a Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, a Master’s Degree in Project Management from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Procurement Law and Policy from the University of Nottingham.
Professionally, he is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and Principal Partner of CDP Partnership Limited, with a career spanning over two decades in infrastructure, procurement, and project management, including oversight of major national projects such as the remodeling of international airport terminals across Nigeria. His portfolio reflects direct experience handling projects worth over one billion dollars, a level of technical competence rarely brought directly into Nigeria’s legislature.
His political journey has been steady and deliberate, moving from contesting for Governor of Kogi State under the PDP to his current bid for the Kogi East Senatorial seat under the African Democratic Congress, with his underlying goal remaining consistent throughout: bringing accountable, development-driven leadership to his people. Stakeholders across Idah Federal Constituency have already unanimously adopted him as their preferred candidate for the Kogi East Senatorial seat ahead of the 2027 general elections, with incoming ADC chairmen across the district’s nine local government areas united in mobilizing grassroots support for his emergence.
Marking Democracy Day 2026, he told the district plainly: “Kogi East is ready. The choice belongs to the people, and I am prepared to earn it.”
Beginning Wednesday, 19th August, the campaign for Distinguished QS Aminu Suleiman officially takes off, a campaign built not on inherited privilege, but on the resolve of a people ready to determine their own future.
Kogi East, the choice before us in 2027 is clear: continued subservience, or genuine self-determination. Come out in your numbers. Vote Distinguished QS Aminu Suleiman.
