A non-governmental organization, CKO Foundation, has called for application from eligible students studying in public tertiary institutions for its scholarship awards.
In a statement signed by the Chief Operation Officer, Araba Rufus Aiyenigba, CKO Foundation said the tertiary education scholarship scheme is in furtherance of its education support initiatives.
Araba Aiyenigba said CKO Foundation is mindful that education is the key to unlocking the human potentials, and that access to quality education is limited to a privileged few with many young people from indigent backgrounds have a limited opportunity to accessing quality and affordable education, due to lack of economic incapacity on the part of their parents.
He explained that CKO Education Support Initiatives is set to bridge the gap by making desired impact in enhancing education opportunity and provide access for indigent students in the society.

He called on indigent students from Okun Land in Kogi state to apply for the scholarships.
Araba Aiyenigba added that the bursary scheme is designed for indigent students of Okun extraction in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.
He added that students studying in public universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, schools of nursing and heath technology are eligible to apply.
He listed proof of studentship, including admission letter, school identification card, and a minimum of one semester result as well as LGA indigeneship certificate as requirements for application.

Shortlisted candidates are to bring the above-listed required documents for physical sighting at the point of fund disbursement.
