GYB Frontiers, a group working for the re-election of Governor Yahaya Bello, has called on the people of Kogi state to give the governor a second chance so as to consolidate on the present gains and bring prosperity to the state.
Speaking shortly after the inauguration of the steering committee of the forum, the Chairman of the group, Alh Hans Muhammed maintained that the GYB Frontiers is a group formed solely to propagate and build network to support the re-election of Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello for a second term as Governor of Kogi State.
According to him, the governor has done very well during his first tenure in the areas of providing security for the lives and property of the citizenry, provision of qualitative healthcare delivery, massive road construction and rehabilitation, saying that a second term for him is both desirable and important for the growth and development of the state.
He added that as a man of peace, Governor Bello has worked tirelessly to ensure peaceful coexistence amongst the people of the three senatorial districts of Kogi state.
While promising to continue to work in line with the Governor’s desires for a peaceful Kogi state the forum said, “we have set out to preach peace and forgiveness among stakeholders for peaceful resolutions of all grievance.
“There would be a Door to door campaign and grassroots mobilization of voters and delegates ahead of the election. The re-election of GYB is a task that be carried out. Kogi will rise again.”
The Chairman of the forum is Alh Hans Muhammed while the Secretary is Comrade Abdullateef Onusi.
Other members of the groups are; Alh Adams Onota, Hon Bashiru Abubakar, Sunday Alabi, Musa Machero, Alli Rahman.
Others are; Engr Muhammed Tas, Pharmacist Idris Bello, Alh Abubakar and Alh Abdulmumuni BB Mr White.
