Bayo Ojo Foundation Empowers Market Women, Donates School Materials to Students in Kogi

A former Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Bayo Ojo has donated empowerment kits to women in Iffe community, Ijumu local government area of Kogi state, to assist in making them comfortable in their market stalls.

Chief Ojo, a senior advocate of Nigeria, also donated school bags, text books to students in the community through his foundation on Thursday.

Coordinator of the Foundation, Amb. Rufus Aiyenigba said the gesture will soon spread across all local government areas of Okun land.

He said they decided to start from Iffe being the community of the Founder, to fulfil the age long adage that “charity begins at home”.

Receiving the items, Pastor Osamika Amos, Principal of Iffe Commercial Secondary School, eulogized Chief Bayo Ojo and the Foundation for investing in the future of children in the community.

Present at the event was the representative of Iffe Welfare Association (IWA), Mr Bayo Inutorise; Oba Olawale Obajemu of Iffe Ijumu, Pastor Segun Ojo amongst several others.

Items donated include 200 school bags, mathematics and english text books, note books, and trading umbrellas for women.
