Chief Paul Ibrahim, the Onu Aja of Ofante community, Olamaboro local government of Kogi State has lauded Chief Ogwu Onoja for his exemplary life style.

He also urged him to continue the good work and urged Ogugu sons and daughters to emulate Chief Onoja.

The Onu Aja Ofante dropped this in Ofante community of Ogugu at the commissioning of pipe borne water donated by a foundation under the watchful eyes of Chief Ogwu Onoja (SAN) on Wednesday.

According to the Chairman of Ofante community self-help, Deacon John Akogu, the community with the assistance of worthy sons and daughters has realised that self-help driven projects are more rewarding.

He recollected that waiting for the government response for a direct project with immediate impact on the people could be a time wasted as it could adversely affect the people before any meaningful responses.

Deacon Akogu implored all sons and daughters of the community to refrain from egotism and remember home as North, South, West or East, home is the best.

While appreciating Chief Onoja SAN for his commitment to the development of his father land, he thanked Onoja and urged him to continue the good work, urging Ogugu sons and daughters to emulate Chief Onoja.
