A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and governorship aspirant, Banji Jimoh has congratulated all the APC House of Assembly elect in Kogi State for emerging victorious in the just concluded Kogi State House of Assembly elections.
Speaking with newsmen in Kabbal on Sunday, Jimoh congratulated all the APC House of Assembly members-elect in Kogi State and urged them to make laws and sponsor bills that would bring positive development to the people.
“Kogites are looking unto them as the legislative arm of the government for qualitative and effective representation, they must not fail,” he said.
The Governorship hopeful described the conduct of voters as impressive, adding that there was peace and order during the election.
He urged the people to continue to support the policies and programs of the APC led administration for the overall development of the state.
The Governorship aspirant commended INEC for conducting a transparent elections and urged them to sustain it in the future elections.
He appealed to Kogites to continue to have faith in the APC as Kogi State prepares for governorship election for more gains of democracy.
He commended the people for voting for APC candidates for securing twenty two seats while only three went to the opposition parties.
“The victory is an indication that Kogi State remains an APC state and appealed to all the Senators, House of Representatives and House of Assembly elect not to disappoint the people who has given them their trust,” he said.
