Ayegunle/Iluhafon Ward PDP Stalwats Meet, Thumbs Down APC

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ayegunle/Iluhafon Ward, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State holds its first quarter general meeting in a grand style. The said meeting held at Arch. Salman Idris House, Akure Quarters, Ayegunle Gbede as usual.

Former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. S. B Abodunde, welcoming all members to the meeting and encouraged members to be up and doing and pray for happy deliberation.

Alhaji Abdullateef Abdulkadir (Popular) who was assigned to enlighten party members on recent political development in the country, said All Progressives Congress (APC) is a failure at the beginning, saying the PDP is waxing stronger day in day out.

Abdulkadir urged party loyalists to continue to support the ruling party and President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

Hon. E.S.U Olorunfemi, while address party faithfuls, noted that he was at the meeting to solicit support for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s second term for some reasons and task party loyalists to hold firm to the ruling party adding that PDP remain the only national party.

Hon. Lateef Folorunsho Haruna, Supervisor for Budget and Planning, Ijumu Local Government Area, urged party members to register with the party chairman and/or secretary for record keeping and give update about the forthcoming general elections.

Alhaji Imran Idris, Chairman, Ijumu chapter of PDP, said All Progressives Congress (APC) is not a party to reckon with based on their political antecedents.

Others who are in attendance includes Yusuf Adeyanju Yisau, Alhaji A. Q Enikanonaye, Musa Muhammed, Othman D. Amidu etc.
