Avabee Condoles Ohiaga Clan Over Death of Ex-Kogi Commissioner, Abdulmumini Usman

The leader of Avabee political organization, Mr Matthew James Avabee has described the death of Dr. Abdulmumuni Usman Maiyaki as a huge loss to Ohiaga clan of Eika-Ohizenyi.

In a condolence message issued in Lagos on Thursday, Avabee commiserated with Kogi State Government, State Assembly Chief Whip, Muktar Bajeh and the people of Okehi local government.

Avabee, popularly known as Mr Spreading, said the late former Commissioner was one of the brightest sons of Eika-Ohizenyi and will be sorely missed.

“We are indeed saddened by this irreplaceable loss and pray to Almighty Allah for the family at this period of grief and also wish the soul of Dr. Abdulmumuni Usman to continue to rest in peace. May He also forgive all his shortcomings in Jesus name. God will comfort and grant the family the grace to bear this great loss and strength to remain steadfast,” he said.

Dr Abdulmumuni Usman Maiyaki served as Kogi State Commissioner for Science and Technology between 2011-2015 under the administration of former Governor Idris Wada.

He died in the early hours of Thursday after a brief illness.
