HRM, Agabaidu Dr Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa CFR, Ata lgala and President Kogi State Council of Traditional Rulers has adopted Igala – Bassa Development Initiative (IBDI) as the foremost developmental organisation for Igala – Bassa.
The Ata – Igala made the pronouncement when Members of the Board of Trustees and other Senior Management Staff of IBDI led by its Chairman, Board of Trustees Maj. General J. A Ataguba (rtd) paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Ata- Igala in Idah, Kogi State.
The Ata- Igala, who was full of appreciation, commended the initiative and charged the Management and Members of IBDI to do all they can to bring positive development to the Kingdom with a royal directive to make Igala – Bassa new and beautiful.
In his response, the Chairman, Board of Trustees assured the Ata – Igala of the commitment of the Board, Management and Members of IBDI in bringing sustainable development to Igala – Bassa by mobilizing resources for common actions to empower inhabitants thus providing opportunities for dignified lifestyle.
Igala – Bassa Development Initiative (IBDI) is a benevolent, non – partisan and non-governmental registered organization, promoting integral development and sustainable peace.
IBDI works towards socio – economic upliftment of communities in Igala – Bassa living in poverty and social exclusion.
