Okene Local Government Administrator, Engr. (Mall) Abdulrazaq Muhammad has congratulated Lawi A. T Ahmed and Ahmed Dahiru (Hacco), winners of Okene I and Okene II Constituency respectively in the just concluded State House of Assembly elections on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).
In a Press statement issued in Okene through his Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Abdulmumin Abubakar, Hon. Abdulrazaq said, the victory recorded so far shows clearly the acceptance of the party and her candidates in the election and assure the electorates that the two elected representatives will certainly justify the confidence repose in them.
The Council Administrator also hailed the leadership and members of All Progressive Congress (APC) for their resilience, enthusiasm and uncommon commitment displayed during and after the polls. These he said, had in no small measure contributed to the successes recorded in all the 266 polling units across the 11 wards of Okene Local Government.
The Chairman also extended his immense appreciation to the electorates, INEC and security agencies whose efforts and professional conducts led to the peaceful conduct of the polls.
The Local Government Council boss said, so far the results available to him shows that, APC recorded similar victory across the 21 Local Governments of Kogi State, and therefore, ascribe the overall success of our party to the leadership style of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
Further more, Hon. Abdulrazaq described the governor’s political sagacity as unique and thank him for providing a purposeful leadership anchored on good governance and progressive innovations.
