…DGs of NOA, NBRRI, Special Adviser to CEO of Dangote Group tops the list of discussants
Arc. Salman Idris is billed to chair the opening ceremony of the 3rd Kogi Built Environment and Building Material (BEBM) Exhibition on Tuesday 17th October at the Children Amusement Park, Lokoja, Kogi State.
According to a release by the conveners of the event, Arc. Salman has promised to mobilize professionals, particularly Kogi indigenes, to the exhibitions to discuss and proffer real solutions to the issues of planning in Kogi state and create synergy towards meeting the housing shortage in the state.
Apart from his position as Chairman of the occasion, a pavilion christened ‘Arc. Salman Idris Pavilion’ is to be provided at the event. The pavilion will be used to showcase locally produced materials in Kogi State. This is aimed at encouraging locally produced material production through small and medium scale enterprises.
The programme of event indicated that various speakers have been invited among whom are Dr. Garba Abari, Director General, National Orientation Agency; Professor Danladi Matawal, Director General NBRRI Abuja; Engr. Joseph Makoju, former Special Adviser to President of Nigeria on Power and CEO of Dangote Group.
The exhibition is targeted at stakeholders of the built environment industry within and around Kogi State.
