The APC’s grand finale rally in Eika-Ohizenyi Ward was a resounding success, marking a significant show of strength and unity within the party ahead of the upcoming elections. The massive turnout of enthusiastic supporters reaffirmed the people’s trust in the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and their commitment to sustaining the developmental strides achieved under the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The event served as an opportunity for the APC to celebrate the inclusive leadership of Governor Ododo, particularly his decision to appoint a significant number of indigenes from Eika-Ohizenyi Ward into key positions in his cabinet. This act of inclusion has bolstered the sense of belonging within the ward and solidified their loyalty to the party.

In addition to showcasing support for Governor Ododo, the rally was also a powerful platform for the party to pledge its unwavering support for the APC Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Monday Amoka Eneji (Odu), and all 11 ward councillorship candidates. The highlight of the event was the symbolic handing over of the party flag to four ward councillors from Eika District, including Miss Victoria Ohunene James, who will represent Eika-Ohizenyi Ward.

Speaking to the press, the Okehi LGA Secretary, an indigene of the ward, expressed confidence that Eika-Ohizenyi Ward will deliver the highest votes for the APC, just as they did in the last gubernatorial election that brought Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to power. He emphasized that the ward has traditionally been an APC stronghold and will continue to play a vital role in ensuring the party’s victory.

The unity and momentum demonstrated at the rally reflect the APC’s robust position in Okehi LGA, especially after the party’s primary elections. Hon. Monday Amoka Eneji (Odu)’s emergence as the flagbearer has been widely seen as a unifying force, given his impressive track record in public service and his ability to bring together previously aggrieved personalities within the party.

Those in attendance at the rally included notable political figures such as Hon. AK Salihu, Hon. Kabiru Ajannah, Hajiya Fatimah Momoh, Hon. Siyaka Yakubu Adebenege (Fancy), Alhaji Abdullahi Ozigi, Hon. Micheal Ajibade, and many other political leaders from Okehi LGA, whose presence further emphasized the importance of the occasion and the collective commitment to ensuring APC’s success in the elections.

The rally not only energized the APC base but also reaffirmed the party’s readiness to secure victory at the polls, driven by the collective efforts of its leaders, candidates, and dedicated supporters.
