The ten wards APC Chairmen in Mopamuro local government area of Kogi State has passed a vote of confidence on the council boss, Hon. Moses David Sunday Alumo.
The party leaders resolved to pass the confidence vote on Mopamuro Administrator after a meeting in Mopa on Wednesday.
Addressing newsmen after the meeting, the Wards chairmen explained that they are proud of Alumo, who, according to them, has been working for the development of Mopamuro since his emergence.
Speaking on behalf of the chairmen, the Mopamuro APC Ward 08 chairman, Hon. Samuel Obasun stated that Alumo is generally accepted by the youth and general public including the sojourners within the LGA.
“Under the Chairmanship of Alumo, Mopamuro has become a nice place to live in. Talking about development, Alumo is doing his best, he has no match in security and welfarism. His projects across the local government are noticeable.
“Alumo’s wisdom of leadership is second to none. He is God-sent to Mopamuro and if given more opportunity to serve, Mopumaro will be more developed. We can have the best Mopamuro we wish for under the leadership of Hon. Moses David Sunday Alumo. We call on the general public to shun political affliction and support a man full of innovative ideas,” he said.
He urged agents of disunity to desist from further attempts to polarise the local government along Mopa, Amuro line in their bid to fulfill selfish political desires.
