APC Primary; Okene Administrator Congratulates Gov. Bello, Commend Delegates

Okene Local Government Administrator, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello on his victory as the winner of the just concluded All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship primary elections.

The Governor polled 3,091 votes to defeat nine other contestants at a transparent and peaceful election at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja on Thursday.

In his congratulatory message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Abdulrazaq described the victory as well deserved saying the governor have convinced the people beyond reasonable doubt through his numerous landmark achievements and  uncommon capacity to lead the state to a greater height, hence, the need to ensure the second term consolidation becomes a reality.

He appreciated the interest of other aspirants but urged them to join hands with the Governor to move the state forward. 

The Council boss commended all delegates, especially those from Okene Local Government, for their doggedness and display of uncommon loyalty and support. While thanking them for keeping faith with the government, the Council Chairman assured them of government determination to ensure they reap the fruits their labour.

He said “by voting for Gov. Yahaya Bello, you have all sowed the seeds of progress, peace and sustainable development in the state.”
