Ahead of the August 29th governorship primary election of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State, the Chief Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. (Mall) Abdulrazaq Muhammad has maintained that the Governor Yahaya Bello has no rival.

Abdulrazaq stated that Governor Bello is the man to beat in view of the overwhelming support so far received from the stakeholders and executives of the party.

The council helmsman stated this in Kabba on Thursday during an interactive session with journalists as the 21 Local Government Administrators under the umbrella of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Kogi State chapter began campaign tour for the reelection of Gov. Yahaya Bello.

He described Local Government Administrators as the foot soldiers of the Governor who are working hard to increase the grassroots support base of the Governor, hence, the reason why all the Administrators are all out to oil the political machineries ahead of August election.

He maintained that the Governor enjoys so much support from the party in Kogi West and the executives are in high spirit to vote him again for second term. He insisted that Bello has no rival for the party ticket.

While appreciating the efforts of his colleagues from Kogi West, Okene Council leader urged stakeholders, party supporters and indeed the good people of Kogi State to stand firm for the reelection of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
