A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Dan Isah, has urged the leadership of the party to field a credible and popular candidate if it must win the November 16 governorship election in the state.

Isah was Director General of the Audu/Faleke Campaign Organisation for the November 2015 Kogi governorship election, and currently heading the campaign team of Admiral Usman Jibrin (rtd), an APC governorship aspirant for the forthcoming election in the state.

Speaking to newsmen in Lokoja, Isah said the APC must carry out a “character analysis” of all aspirants seeking to fly its governorship flag and ensure that only the best of them emerged at the end of the day.

He, however said Admiral Usman Jibrin remained the best option for the APC when it came to clinching victory for the party in the November 16 governorship election in the state.
