Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman of the Okun Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, on the passing of his wife, Her Royal Highness, Queen Marie Ige Owoniyi.
In a statement released today, Hon. Meseko expressed his deep sorrow and sympathy to the Obaro, the royal family, and the entire Okun community.
“This is a time of great sadness for all of us,” Hon. Meseko stated. “Queen Marie was a gracious, respected, cherished woman, and her presence will be sorely missed. We offer our prayers and support to the Obaro and the royal family during this difficult period.”
Hon. Meseko urged the community to come together in support of the Obaro and to honor the memory of Queen Marie, and prayed that God grant her soul eternal repose.
