Anyigba is not safe for Igalas and not safe for the strangers. People from other lands that came to our kingdom just for schooling are now living in fear, running up and down because of insecurity. This is not too good for Igala, not good for Kogi state.
The reigning thing now is that some innocent are being murdered in cold blood and labeled cultists. Why calling the dead bad name again?
Most unfortunately, the abominable act are being condone in the kingdom of Anyegba Oma Idoko and the custodians of our culture must be seen as giving up but time to call different clan and lineage for engagement may be now.
Igala Arise
Kogi State University is the only thing we have in Igala land, it was doing well under previous administrations but going badly under Yahaya Bello, though nothing is working under Yahaya Bello but Igala need to think and rethink.
Government Hypocrisy
The DSS and SARS can’t tell me they don’t know the bad boys in our land. It is unfortunate all the security powers they have is being tailored toward harassing and intimidating opposition. The deadly killers are moving freely.
Anyigba The Deadly Zone?
Exodus 12:13 –– “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you”
It is only in Anyigba that AK47 will be wrapped in clothes and carryied around on Okada. Men move with axes and other deadly weapons freely and nobody dare to question them. All the bad boys in Kogi need to be safe is to being seeing with the slogan of 4+4. As for the bad boys, the immunity is for them to belong to new direction and have the logo of 4+4 which is the sign of continuity for the current Yahaya Bello government.
Students The Prey?
Nothing can justify killing of students and the state government as a matter of urgency must put in place the mechanism that will end this unabated killing in KSU. The sacking of the appropriate authorities in Kogi state university should be recommended if that will guarantee safety of students. Enough is enough!
Our Prayers
The only way to get justice for the untimely deaths is to get those behind it before the law and make them face justice. It is not enough removing the appropriate authorities but the killers must be arrested and brought to book. By doing so, the dead will smile in his or her grave.
