Ankpa Students Association, Kogi State University chapter has honoured the Galadima of Ankpa kingdom, Prince Yakub Yakub with a merit award.
The student association stated that the Ankpa Prince was honoured because of selfless service to humanity.
Hon. Yakub, in his acceptance speech, thanked the university students for counting him worthy of honour. He pledged to do more for his people.
“This is not just an indication that my little efforts and contribution to humanity is been appreciated, it is also a call and a charge to do more and also contribute more to the good and growth of the society.
“I appreciate this noble association, it’s leadership and the entire members for this recognition. I am indeed honored and encouraged,” he said.
