Ankpa LG Chairman Promises to Improve Primary Health Care for Residents

Ankpa Local Government Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Abagwu has promised to improve services at Ojogbi primary health care center and other necessary infrastructure to improve standard of living of the people in the area.

The Chairman made the promise yesterday at the council secretariat in Ankpa while receiving in audience stakeholders of Ojogobi Development Association (ODA).

In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mustapha Adams Aikoye, the council chairman promised to grade the road through Ojogobi down to Enelie community.

He also promised to rehabilitate and equip Ojogobi primary health center and others.

”I have taken note of your requests but because of the financial challenges on ground, I cannot promise that I will do all what the people requested for immediately, but gradually, I will fulfill my promise,” he said.

The acting chairman of the association, Mallam Ademu Adaji, stated that the entire people of Ojogobi has being longing to pay the council chairman a visit to officially congratulate him on his desirable victory in the recent election and also to thank him for the appointment of  their son, Hon. Seidu Mohammed as Senior Special Adviser on Youth and Sports.

“Your past administration as a caretaker chairman promoted economic development and social activities of the area. We commended your giant strides, within these few months in office, in the area of security, health and infrastructural development,” he said.

He appealed for the re-grading of Ojogobi road, provision of portable water, rehabilitation and equipping of the primary health center, establishment of local government secondary school in the community, more employment opportunity for the youths and electrification of the community amongst others.
