When I saw a caption of an article titled “Ankpa must be liberated”, in my mind’s eye I thought today I’ve found an intellectually-packed, well constructed and objective write-up as it concerns Ankpa my LGA. As I peruse through the first paragraph, I had to go back to see who authored because, what I found in its content is nothing but wicked, treacherous, usual personal political attacks, misinformation, spin-offs from an accidental activist, a jobless and ungrateful fellow, and an unhealthy propaganda aimed at the wrong person, dragging our highly respected elders name to the mud.
On Sunday 4th September 2017, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed of Ankpa 1 constituency, and the Deputy Majority Leader of the Kogi state house of Assembly, our “Gods own representative”, was honored for his good works and delivering the dividends of democracy to his people. A vote of confidence was passed on him and the meeting was presided by the Onuh Ankpa, the pride of Ankpa and the custodian of our tradition, all elders and stakeholders were present under the umbrella of “Ankpa District Development Union”. That same day, a motorized borehole was commissioned at Angwa-Okpakpala (Mission Street) by the Onuh Ankpa. And what we saw on the media was an attack by Sam Akubor and I ask, what are the sins of Ahmed Ahmed in the sight of Enemama Akubor Sam?
It all started when Mr. Enemama Sam Akubor was made to understand that financial favors (Money) can’t be granted all the time. He is so used to begging to the point that he lies that his house rent expires, his wife is sick, needed money to pay fees of the children, etc. Honorable Ahmed in his magnanimity and love would come to his rescue but the very day he called and made a request and it was turned down, it became a problem.
He would castigate, oppose and insult politicians to seek relevance; the cheap and incompetent ones may see him as a threat and call him to give him money. He made several request to publish against people he termed as “Enemies of Ahmed Ahmed” but his request was turned down severally.
Lest I forget, you called our Elders and the Onu-Ankpa “Beggars and political tools? Oh! I don’t blame you, I don’t need a talisman to tell me you don’t have one (Elder) at home. Let me remind you very quickly that you were born and dropped by the gutters, your mother ran away and you were picked and adopted. You were also disowned after you slept with your step sister in 1998. (It is still very fresh in our memories how you were beaten and strip naked along Ejeh palace). You are a bastard and you don’t mind displaying it to anyone.
My humble prayer for you is to desist from being greedy and irresponsible. You will inherit a bad future for your children and make no mistake about this – there are future leaders. And let this thing get into your head; you need the elders, even though you lack parental upbringing and proper home training. You owe our elders and apology. God has blessed Ankpa LGA with elders and people who are not too interested in money but are interested in the progress of the land. They want to see their children and their grandchildren become good and respected leaders. The era of looting, blackmailing politicians, defrauding and killing the state is over. Oh I forgot you are also one of the “Ghost workers” that were sent packing from the Civil service.
And lastly, you must know that “You cannot fight what God has ordained” not when that person was once your benefactor, feeds you, cloth you, gave you life. Ahmed Ahmed has carved a niche for himself that you and your type cannot pull him down no matter how you try. Your misguided and combustible wailing and insulting has exposed you and henceforth shall not be tolerated.
