Pastor Stanley Ajileye, Managing Director of Ekinrin-Adde Community Radio (Akogba FM), has commended the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his unwavering commitment to the security of lives and property across the state.

Ajileye, a notable political activist in the state, praised the governor’s acquisition of armoured vehicles and other security equipment aimed at strengthening the operational capacity of security agencies in the fight against banditry and other criminal activities.

According to him, the successful foiling of bandit attacks on Ikoyi Community in Ijumu Local Government Area and Iluke in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area is a clear testament to the proactive security measures being implemented by the Ododo administration.

He further noted that Governor Ododo’s prompt condolence visit to the families of victims of the Iluke attack has earned him admiration and respect among many Kogi citizens.

“The Governor’s swift visit to commiserate with the bereaved families demonstrated compassion, empathy, and responsible leadership. This singular act has scored him high in the eyes of people like us who genuinely desire a leader that feels the pains of the people,” Ajileye said.

Expressing optimism about the future of the state, Ajileye said he remains hopeful that God will use Governor Ododo to rid Kogi State of insecurity and restore lasting peace to all communities.

He prayed that God would continue to strengthen, guide, and back the governor in his efforts to secure the state, while urging residents to support the government and security agencies with credible information that will help sustain the fight against criminal elements.

“We pray that God will continue to uphold Governor Ododo and grant him wisdom, courage, and success in securing our state and protecting our people,” he added.
