Ajaka: Iyalo Nursery and Primary School Graduates First Set

Joyful pupils, delighted parents, fulfilled teachers and an accomplished proprietor gathered on Saturday to celebrate the maiden graduation ceremony of the first set of pupils from the young but largely popular Iyalo Nursery and Primary School.

The colorful ceremony was held at the school premises in Ajaka, headquarters of Igalamela/Odolu local government area of Kogi state.

The occasion was chaired by the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commissioner representing Idah Federal Constituency, Hon Musa Baba Adama.

The event featured colourful displays by brilliant pupils of the school to a delightful audience. From nursery rhymes from the smallest of kids and a fierce debate, to choreography, quiz competition and cultural dance, the ceremony had so much to offer.

In his remark, the Head teacher of the school, Mall. Yahaya Atabo Ibrahim, congratulated the pupils for “a milestone achievement.”

He called on the pupils to be good ambassadors of the school in their respective secondary schools by being studious and law abiding.

Similarly, the proprietor of the school, Mallam Isah Muhammed Abba expressed delight in the school’s accomplishments.

He thanked staff of the school and the efforts of the parents of pupils for what he described as the realisation of his “ultimate” objective for the establishment of the school.

He further expressed his willingness to continue to invest in the school to improve facilities and aid learning.
