Senator Atai Aidoko Ali has sent a message of condolence to former Kogi state chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief John Odawn on the sudden demise of his foster son and age long confidant, Patrick Ojogbane.
Senator Aidoko in a statement through his media office said the news of the death of a renowned private sector professional and consistent politician has again thrown the people of the area into mourning, saying it is a season of death too many.
The senator stated that the incident threw him off balance. He recalled efforts of the late politician to impact on the lives of his people through participation in party politics and his achievement in that area, though not realised, but worthy of emulation.
He described the late technocrat as one of the true Igala sons whose efforts to move his people beyond poverty level remains paramount to his chest until death came calling.
Senator Aidoko used the opportunity to extend his condolences to Senator Yahaya Ugbane, praying for the repose of his soul having lived a well deserved life.
