Aidoko Condoles Wada Ejiga Family Over Demise of Hajia Salamatu

Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali has sent a message of condolence to the famous Wada Ejiga family, on the sad news of the death of  their matriarch and foster mother of Captain Idris Wada and Dr Ibrahim Wada, Hajiya Salamatu Wada.
Aidoko in statement personally signed by him said the demise of the septuagenarian, high chief ‎and notable women leader in Igala land, though painful, is a celebration of life well spent.
The Federal lawmaker said late Hajia Salamatu Wada (Iye Adibe Igala) who despite her age died in active service to her women folk.
According to him, the late women leader held sway for over four decades ‎in her quest for women upliftment, development and positive contributions to move Igala land forward. He said her achievements should be a source of joy to the family.
Aidoko stated that her exit will have immeasurable effects on the entire family of Wada Ejiga and by extension his offshoots as the late woman leader was the rallying point of the family in all ramifications.
He described the late high Chief Salamatu Wada as a peace maker, a bridge builder, a strong factor in the entire Igala landscape, particularly in the mobilisation of women into participation in genuine political aspirations and community programs to the betterment of the area.
Aidoko said the indelible ‎legacies of the late women mobiliser will leave a vacuum that will take a long time to fill.
