AGDU Constitutes Committees for 2021 Aiyegunle Gbede Day Celebration

The highest socio-cultural organization in Ayegunle Gbede in Ijumu local government area of Kogi State, Ayegunle Gbede Descendants Union (AGDU), has constituted the various committees for Ayegunle Gbede Day 2021 which is scheduled to hold on 3rd of April, 2021.

According to the statement made available to newsmen by the National Public Relations Officer of the union, Yusuf Adeyanju Yisau, these committees are expected to work with the members of the national executive council of AGDU in order to achieve a successful Ayegunle Gbede Day 2021 celebration. 

According to him, Nafiu Sadiq is the chairman of the planning and organising committee with Goke Nihi, Olamide Adewumi, Idiat Hudu Abdulsalam, Abdulsalam Jibril, and Paul Ibiniwa as members, and Bilikisu Abdulkadir as secretary.

Rofiat Suleiman is expected to serve as chairperson for the finance committee with Abdulrahman Ashir Omojarabi as secretary while Charles Ade Nihi, Abdulazeez Ibrahim, Abdulsalam Ahmed Hudu, Sikiru Abdulsalam, and Ahmed-Ade Fatai are members. 

Spokesperson of the union, Yusuf Adeyanju Yisau is the Chairman of Ayegunle Gbede Day 2021 media and publicity committee with Ajibola Bernard Olaniyi as secretary. Other media and publicity committee members are Yahaya Owonare, Olusegun Ayindero-Oyenibi, Usman Ayo Aminu, Haruna Ishola Owonare, and Aliyu Abdulrazaq Adeniyi. 

Entertainment committee will be chaired by Murtala Aliyu and Olorunlogbon Inufin will be the secretary of the committee with Ibrahim Olalekan Abdulsalam, Ayepeku Joshua, Roseline Tomi, Dr. Nice Cultural Group, Bello Oluwasegun Hassan as members.

Ismaila Adesayo Yahaya, Murtala Aliyu, Naheem Abdulrahman, Bashir Olori-Ode, Khadijat Yakubu are members of security committee with Moshood Ibrahim as chairman and Muniru Kadri as secretary of the committee.

The committee in-charge of logistics will be chaired by Paul Fayomi and Isiaka Olalekan Lawal will be the secretary of the committee while Haruna Musa, Muhammed Arekemase, Nimota Aliyu, Olorunlogbon Inufin, and Mulikat Ibrahim will serve as members. 

The contact and mobilization committee is made up of chairmen and secretaries of Ayegunle Gbede Descendants Union branches nationwide, the release stated.

In addition, each committee is expected to prepare and submit its budget to the national executive council of Ayegunle Gbede Descendants Union on or before 11th of December, 2020.
