The forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward Secretaries’ Forum in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State have endorsed Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims, the member representing Ankpa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives for a second term in office.

The endorsement as their choice candidate for the party’s ticket in the 2023 general election was detailed in a courtesy call visit to the Federal Lawmaker at his residence in Ankpa.

The party ward secretaries were accompanied by the Ankpa local government party secretary, Hon. Sani Yunusa Jibrin.

While presenting their mission statement, the forum Secretary, Hon Audu Adah revealed that the Forum resolved to endorse the Lawmaker in due recognition of His outstanding performance which has not only surpassed his predecessors but become a model for his future successors to emulate.

In his response, Hon Halims thanked the party scribes for the confidence they have in him and he reassured them and the people of Ankpa Federal Constituency that he will continue to strive hard to ensure Ankpa Federal Constituency is well represented among the Committee of Constituencies.

While thanking them further, Hon. Halims noted that his services to the people are born out of his intention to leave positive legacy in his name and not so much about the next election. He added that power belongs to the almighty Allah and knowing fully well that Allah will surely ask him to give account of his stewardship, he will always put the people first.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Iliasu Abdulkareem while affirming their position gestures such as the Nineteen solar powered boreholes across the Federal constituency, Ejinya-Efofe erosion control and the drainage project in Ankpa, the massive installation of solar powered street lights across the Federal Constituency and his series of artisan training schemes cannot be left unrewarded.
