The Commissioner for Youth and Sport, Honorable Monday Anyebe, has sent his heartfelt congratulations to his principal, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the confirmation of his election victory by the tribunal.
In a statement issued in Lokoja on Monday, Anyebe said “this monumental decision reinforces Governor Ododo’s legitimate status as the duly elected leader of Kogi State.”
The Commissioner added that Governor Ododo’s commitment and dedication to the betterment of the society have been evident throughout his campaign and subsequent leadership.
“This resounding affirmation by the Tribunal not only validates the faith bestowed upon Governor Ododo by the people of Kogi State but also serves as a testament to their unwavering support. The will of the people has prevailed, and Governor Ododo’s victory signifies a brighter future for our beloved state,” he said.
The Commissioner pledged his unwavering support to Governor Ododo and his administration. He added that the Ministry remains dedicated to nurturing the youth and fostering a thriving sporting community within Kogi State.
