Abdulaziz Idris King Pays NECO Fees of Indigent Students in Kogi Central

Succour has come the way of some indigent final year secondary school students across the five local government areas of Kogi Central senatorial district who had their NECO fees paid by a former House of Representatives member, Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King.

King released over one million naira for the payment of the NECO fees for the indigent students across the five local government areas at Government Day Secondary School, Iruvucheba on Monday.

The former Federal lawmaker who represented Okene/Ogori-Magongo in the lower chamber disclosed that education is the bedrock of sustainable development. He assured the less privileged of his support at all times.

While noting that the issues pertaining to the educational needs of citizens should not be left for government alone, Hon King described the gesture as his modest support to humanity.

He urged the benefiting students not to allow their present challenge weigh them down in their educational pursuit, urging them to see it as a spring board towards attaining excellent grades in their NECO exams.

Hon. Idris King commended the efforts of the present administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello in transforming the educational sector. He assured that the coming years would witness all round development in all sectors of the state.
