A prominent politician and respected national figure, Hon. Chief Dr. Alih Ajuh, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across Kogi State and the country at large, urging the faithful to use the season as a time for unity, reflection, and renewed commitment to the values of love, sacrifice, and service.

Dr. Ajuh, a two-time Commissioner in Kogi State and a distinguished accounting expert with decades of public service, delivered his message in a goodwill statement released today. He described the resurrection of Christ, the cornerstone of the Christian faith, as a symbol of hope and triumph over adversity.

“This sacred season reminds us of the power of sacrifice and the promise of renewal. As we commemorate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, may we also embrace the spirit of compassion, forgiveness, and selfless service to humanity,” Dr. Ajuh stated.

He called on Christians and Nigerians of all faiths to reflect on the true essence of Easter, emphasizing the need for unity in the face of growing national challenges. Dr. Ajuh urged political, religious, and community leaders to promote peace and inclusivity, while reaffirming his commitment to the development and prosperity of Kogi State.

“As we celebrate Easter, let us also renew our collective resolve to build a just and harmonious society. The values that Easter represents should guide us in our daily lives and in our interactions with one another,” he added.

Dr. Ajuh concluded by wishing all Christians a peaceful and joyful celebration, praying that the season brings blessings, healing, and hope to all Nigerians.
