The Special Adviser on Media to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Ismaila Isah, has endorsed the “Governor Ododo Orphan Students Care Initiative” (GoosCare), describing it as a reflection of the governor’s passion for the welfare of the less privileged and his commitment to education.

Hon. Isah said this during a courtesy visit to his office by the Executive of the Kogi State Forum of Local Government Special Assistants led by its chairman, Comrade Jafar Kamarudeen on Thursday.

Speaking earlier, Comrade Kamarudeen explained that GOOSCARE focuses on providing school bags, writing materials, and food items and stipends to students who are orphans in public schools and those in orphanage homes across the 21 local government areas in the state.

He noted that the project, funded through contributions by members of the forum, is both a way of giving back to society and a means of commemorating Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s first year in office by supporting orphans across the state.

The forum expressed gratitude for the Special Adviser’s endorsement, highlighting the crucial role of the media in showcasing Governor Ododo’s compassionate and inclusive leadership.
