Eid-El-Maulud: Hon Umar Yahaya Urge Muslims to Embrace Peace, Unity, Compassion

Hon. Umar Yahaya (Connect) has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the Muslim faithful in Kogi State on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud.

Hon. Yahaya, the House of Assembly member representing Omala State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, expressed his joy in joining Muslims in celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

He emphasized the importance of the Prophet’s teachings on love, unity, and peaceful coexistence.

In his message, Hon. Yahaya called on the people of Kogi State, particularly the Muslim community, to use the occasion as an opportunity to reflect on the Prophet’s life and values.

He urged them to draw inspiration from Prophet Muhammad’s exemplary character, especially his dedication to justice, kindness, and compassion.

Hon. Yahaya also prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity for the government of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

The lawmaker further emphasized the need for religious harmony and peaceful coexistence among the various communities in Kogi State.

He pointed out that unity is essential for the development of the state and the country, stressing that every individual has a role to play in fostering peace.

Hon. Yahaya reiterated his commitment to promoting initiatives that encourage interfaith dialogue and understanding.

Eid-El-Maulud, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is a significant occasion for Muslims around the world. It serves as a time of reflection on the Prophet’s teachings and an opportunity to renew commitments to the values of Islam.
