Omoluabi Pledges Support for Kabba All Stars FC, to Sponsor Annual Football Competition

Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Energy, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, has announced plans to sponsor yearly football competitions in his Kabba hometown.

Omoluabi, the Chairman Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor of Kogi State, made this known when he paid an unscheduled visit to the All Stars Football Club of Kabba on their training field on Saturday.

While addressing them, Omoluabi commended them for organizing themselves and engaging young people in the society. He said they are a beacon of hope for the young people growing against the scourge of drug abuse, cultism and general social vices.

The Special Adviser said football assisted his generation to get focused and united him with his age group as well as giving them the fast exposure of traveling for competitions.

He said sports have the potential and ability to keep every young person busy while growing, adding that Kabba community is desirous of a future that has people who are blessed and well to do, which can only come through the young people today if they get it right while growing.

He promised the football team of his support, and assured them of drawing the political class to their benefits for more coordinated football clubs that would help keep young people busy.

He seized the opportunity to call on well meaning people in the society to support sports as a means of redirecting young people away from social vices.
