Yeye Amuludun of Odokoro Gbede, Chief (Mrs.) Toyin Kosoko-Omole, has expressed deep sadness about untimely demise of Hon. Yahaya Adesayo Ismail, the immediate past Kogi State Commissioner of Special Duties
In a statement on Tuesday, Yeye Kosoko-Omole said the news of Hon Ismail’s departure was a rude shock.
She stated that the former Commissioner’s demise was indeed a heartbreaking loss for all who knew him and the communities he served.
“The news of his sudden death yesterday evening, the 15th of January came as a shock to everyone, as he was actively involved in a meeting when he tragically slumped. His passing has sent shockwaves throughout the state and has left us all grieving his loss.
“This is a stark reminder of the unpredictability of life and how fragile our existence is.
“Hon. Yahaya Adesayo Ismail was not only a dedicated public servant but also a beloved member of our community. His contributions to his constituency and his commitment to the betterment of society will always be remembered and cherished.
“During this difficult time, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, the Governor-elect, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, the Caretaker Chairman of Ijumu LG, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna, the immediate past LG Chairman, Asiwaju Taofiq Isah, DG Project Monitoring Agency, his immediate family members and to all those who were close to the deceased when he was here in our midst, may you find comfort and strength in the memories you shared with him and in the knowledge that he made a significant impact during his time with us,” she said.
