RE: IMMEDIATE RELOCATION OF INEC SENSITIVE MATERIALS TO ABUJA DEMANDED, AS YET ANOTHER FLOODING PLAN BY APC EXPOSED
It has come to the attention of the Office of CPS to the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, that a certain ethnically bigoted character with the name; Isaiah Davies Ijele, who heads the New Media for the Muri/Sam/ SDP Campaign Council, has authored a post with the above text as headline.
The texts are nothing but the last cry of an annihilated political ideology which has no place in Kogi politics or any sane political enclave.
For the avoidance of doubt, the new tactics of doubling down on their propaganda, is the after effects of being totally rejected by the people of Kogi State who preferred the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, whose campaign mantra captured the feelings of the entire state rather than an ethnic agenda that was canvassed by the SDP and its candidate, Muritala Yakubu Ajaka.
In the said public text, the poster failed in his attempt to rope the Speaker in their failed efforts to make any meaningful way in establishing a case worthy of judicial consideration even before the Kogi Gubernatorial Election Petition Tribunal begins its sitting, by mentioning a fictitious name, Kobo Adamu, who they alleged to be a staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, who is ‘related’ to the speaker.
The public should know that Rt Honourable Aliyu Umar does not know anyone with that name and working with INEC in Kogi State or anywhere. We challenge the poster and his co-travelers to make available to the public either a picture or any form of profile of anyone with that name and working with INEC and with any relationship, immediate or extended, with the Head of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Assignment.
We are however not surprised that they are continuing with the current trajectory which they have been on even prior to the elections, as it is their tactics to suck Muri and SDP dry just to line their pockets.
They have reverted to those inanities because their campaign council is bereft of ideas. But what do you expect from a campaign team that decided to jettison real media practitioners on the basis of ethnicity only to employ those whose specialty is in the promotion of illicit substances, Yahoo Boys, objectification of women and lady body parts as media aides?
When propaganda failed, they turned to ethnic agenda, that too fell flat on its face; mentioning of fictitious names to feed their audience with their vitamin will also fail in due course.
My advice is for them to mourn their loss without involving the Speaker who is a fine gentleman of repute with unquestionable political and personal pedigree beyond what anyone in their camp can ever think of.
It is not in the style of Rt Honourable Aliyu Umar Yusuf Assignment to engage in anything untoward to gain political advantage because his name is in itself a selling point across Lokoja Local Government and the state in general.
A word should be sufficient for the wise.
