Business Mogul, Solomon Olowonawu Distributes Writing Materials to Kogi Students

The Managing Director, SkyFree Travels and Tours, Mr. Solomon Olowonawu has distributed writing materials worth thousands of naira to primary school children across the Ijumu Local government area of Kogi state. 

Mr. Solomon who is popularly known as King Solomon has been reaching out to his community and its environs through his foundation with the name King Solomon Foundation (KSF) many years ago. 

The Iyara-born philanthropist who does not patronize the media and publicity has continued to use himself as an instrument of selfless service to his people. 

Solomon Olowonawu was born in Iyara in Ijumu Local government area of Kogi state. He attended Saint Paul Primary School, Iyara, and then proceeded to Ijumu Anglican Science Secondary School before he got his Bachelor’s Degree at the Ogun State University. 

He ventured into the traveling business where he worked at Nigeria Aviation with over 20 years of experience. While working in aviation, he held prominent positions in numerous agencies under aviation. He is currently the MD/CEO SkyFree Travels and Tours, a company that is specialized in Travelling Consultants for both local and international flights, Airport Transfer, Tourist and Working Visa, Etc. 

The quiet but focused and consistent young man occasionally pays for the school fees of students both in tertiary institutions and in colleges. Through his foundation, he pays for WAEC and GCE fees of 20 students every year and also distributes palliative to the widows in his community annually. 

Solomon who usually marks his birthday anniversary on the 11th of December with charity organizations in Lagos state like the Red Cross, orphanage homes, and so on will mark this year’s in his Iyara home country where he will be distributing food, clothing items, and other packages to the people. 

He has started his yearly distribution of writing materials to primary 1 to primary 3 pupils across Ijumu Local government starting with ILEGEA schools 1&2 in Iyara, down to Model ILGEA, Ogidi, United ILGEA Ayere, Baptist No 1&2 primary school Ekinrin Adde and others. 

Solomon has been described by some beneficiaries of his magnanimous acts as a man with a heart of gold whom God is using to change people’s stories. “Someone who helps students with their school fees gives windows food and money, distributes writing materials to children, and employs people into good jobs is a God-sent,” said a beneficiary of his empowerment.
