The cardinal mandate of a legislator is the ability to effective and efficiently act as the voice of the people and deliver on their collective interest and aspirations.
Consequently, the capacity and ability of any candidate seeking to be a legislator should be brought to fore by any serious minded political parties before presenting such a candidate for an election.
It is rather unfortunate that the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state erroneously presented a candidate who seems not to possessed the requisite capacity and credibility to provide good representation for the people of Kogi west.
In all honesty, our desired incoming senator for Kogi West would be elected based on track records of previous performance and not on sectional agenda.
Come February 2023, the people of Kogi West Senatorial District would largely cast their votes grossly on the ability of the candidates to deliver and not based on the so called Yagba Agenda.
Therefore, it is essential that we jointly work hard to choose a credible candidate who can best represent our people at the red chamber of the national assembly, and we as well should as a matter of urgency contribute in our own way by making sure they he receive the highest percentage of our votes .
To this end I wish to reiterate the need for all and sundry to vote massively for Hon TeeJay Yusuf. Because has been the most outstanding lawmaker representing Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency in the National Assembly who has demonstrated beyond a shadow of any doubt, and even to the consternation of his traducers, by performing exceptionally well.
In terms of service delivery, TeeJay Yusuf has proven to be best legislature to ever representative his people.
The people of Kabba Bunu Ijumu federal constituency have enjoyed his reliability and competence and he is therefore qualify to do the same as the senator of Kogi West district.
