Senator Oseni Support Organization (SOSO), a group of young people in Kogi Central, has expressed confidence that Senator Yakubu Oseni’s achievements will guarantee him a stress free primary and re-election in 2023.
The group, in a communique signed by the president, Comrade James Mohammed, extolled the senator for his effective representation and concerns for the downtrodden.
The communique was in support of the APC state party chairman’s statement clarifying that there was no anointed candidate for any elective office in the next general election, that every eligible member of the party who wishes to contest for any position should present themselves to the party members and convince them of their suitability for such office.
The group insisted that Senator Yakubu Oseni will be difficult to beat in any election on the basis that his representation in the last three years.
The group called on the party delegates to vote for the senator in the upcoming primary election for continuity of his open door policy.
They urged all APC faithful, particularly the delegates, to support the incumbent Senator representing Kogi Central for continuity.
“If not for anything, but for the fact that within the last three years in office, the senator has facilitated many developmental projects across the senatorial district, that even the blind can see and the deaf can hear.
“We foresee landslide victory in the upcoming Senatorial election, considering the holistic inclusiveness of the senator’s imprints in all nooks and crannies of the Central Senatorial District,” the group said.
