Kogi Police Commissioner Hails Adavi LG Chairman’s Security Architecture

Kogi State Police Commissioner, Idris Cauda Dabban, has commended the Chairman of Adavi local government, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami, and other council helmsman in the central senatorial district of the state for complimenting efforts of security agencies in their domains.

Dabban gave the commendation when he visited the Police area command in Okene on Wednesday.

The Police Commissioner commended the efforts of the Chief Security Officers of Adavi and Okene LG, who were present, and other LG Chairmen in Kogi Central for easing the task of Nigeria security agencies by collaborating with the Kogi State Vigilante Group and professional hunters to secure lives and property of road users and citizens in their domains.

He acknowledged that it is a good initiative that is effective and well commendable.

According to the Kogi State Police Commissioner, his visit was to interface with his men in Kogi Central, caution and guide them on how to work with useful information, and discharge their duties diligently without any form of harassment as Nigeria Police are meant to be friends with the citizens.

The Executive Chairman of Adavi LG, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami, CNA. in his brief remarks, appreciated the Police boss, adding that his visit to Kogi Central has shown that his up to the task and level of his readiness to support the present administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello to curb insecurity of the state.

“Although, Kogi State is the safest state across the 36 States in Nigeria including FCT, but I can see that with your presence and the way you’ve spoken to your men, we will definitely continue to strengthen the peace we are enjoying in the state.

“On behalf of my local government, I congratulate you and welcome you. You can always count on our cooperation as we will always do what is expected for the betterment of my people. Thank you, and I wish you journey mercy to your destination,” he said.
